IMHO one is better off pulling the cabinets to do this, otherwise you'll wreck the staples that hold the floor to the part under the cabinets. Also pulling the cabinets allows one to clean back in there, and clean the fridge fins etc. Also with the cabinets out, one can squirt anti-rust oil in behind there to get at the seams from the inside.
