Subject: S&S or other exhaust (re-post)
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi again folk, I thought I'd try re-posting this query: I'm looking at a complete replacement of the exhaust system on my 88 GL. The present system is non-stock (previous owner), in pretty bad shape, and I'm trying to decide which way to go. I've been looking at the S&S system sold by ken Wilford and others- has anyone been running it and have an opinion about it? I recognize the problems of a one-piece set-up like that, but are the improved performance claims true? I've received a couple messages so far: Frank in canada, that stebro system looks great, and if I had a rebuilt WBX I'd get it in a second. Right now though I have to get what I can out of the engine before I decide between re-build or conversion. Thanks for any ideas, and sorry for the re-post, Matt Sutton
