For appearance reasons I'd prefer the silver. Does anyone have any experience along this line? What is the silver paint used on RV roofs? Any other suggestions? ------------------ clip ------------------ Metallic paints tend to fail long before solid colors. I'm sure there will be techno babel on this but all my Cadillacs, Olds and other GM cars with metallic paint had finish failures long before the cream Yellow Olds that was 23 years old and still had good color and pigment. Some solid colors, Red, Blue and I'm sure there are others fade quickly. I think you could make up this list yourself by looking at cars around a Wal Mart parking lot. I like silver .......... I'd paint it silver and if it needed repainting five years down the road I'd paint it silver again.
