Unless the Vanagon is a Syncro (not available in 88 in the US), or is
running non-standard wheel/tires, it should be under 7'.


My 91 Camper Syncro is claimed to be 82 inches tall...currently (until
I put on larger wheels and tires.) I just scrape the door in the garage
(7 foot entrance, but the door hangs down a couple of inches below
that.)
