Even though I've moved to Iowa, I'm afraid I've had to leave my favorite VW shop behind. Located on 4th St in North Little Rock is Bob Meyer's Foreign Car Repair shop. Not sure if he'll be there Saturday, but surely by Tuesday. He and his trusty side kick Robert are a wealth of info on all VW's and a good source for used parts. Phone number is 501-371-0600. They're not crazy about Vanagons, but they will give you honest advice.

If a red 67 beetle w/ the Empi mags on it is in front of the shop, Bob is likely there. He prolly won't answer the phone on a Saturday, so here's directions.

From I-30, take the Broadway exit(like exit 141 or so, very close to junction w/ I-40). Turn off and go west past Alltel arena and go through the downtown area of N. Little Rock. When you get to the Broadway bridge that crossess over to Little Rock, turn right and go one block to 4th st. and turn left. About a block down you'll see a neon yellow Bosch sign hanging on a light brown metal building on the right. Tell him I sent you.
