Bernie at Montgomery Auto Parts in Calgary (VW, Audi,Porsche) recommended the W719/5 filter. It has a spring and check ball located in the center of the filter just below the mounting threads. I do not have noisy lifters even if the van sits in the garage for weeks or more.
