Subject: fuel/oil sender hybrid?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I read a tip on the list a little bit ago to make double use of an oil pressure guage mounted on the dash by hooking up a fuel pressure sender somewhere between the fuel pressure regulator and the injectors.

Do you guys know which pressure sender would be compatible with fuel (ie. not melt seals) and have a compatible voltage range with your typical oil pressure guage? A brief search on the net yeilded the part number: vdo-360027, but i can't find that number on the vdo site at all...

Should there be some fancy fittings, or will just the hoses and clamps on the rest of the fuel system do?

Thanks for any insight into this,

-Damon
