Subject: A/C Sealing and charging
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Tis the season to try once again to charge my system, I had a valve leak last summer empty the system. The system however, has always had a slow leak which nobody can find. This year I'm going to use a sealant product.

I'm charging with Freeze 12 which is what leaked out. I'm using Stop Leak by Quest (red plastic container).

After I vacuum the system do I first put in the sealant, then the oil charge (I lost some during the leak) and then the refrigerant? Or do I put the oil charge in then the sealant and refrigerant?
