I figure that an engine conversion doesn't add any more value to a vehicle than having put in a brand new WBX. To a lay person that doesn't know anything about engine conversions it's at best just a "new" motor... and at worst the "wrong" motor that is now going to be their headache. At least you put in a VW motor and a popular one at that. Imagine if you'd put in a Subaru and we're trying to sell the van...

Your best bet is being patient selling it in hopes of finding an experienced van owner that was "thinking" about doing an engine conversion but would rather get something turnkey.
