Allan, For the years 1981-1991, look at your VIN. The assembly plant code is the 11th character (reading left to right). E = Emden, Germany, H = Hannover, Germany. Most busses assembled here. G = Graz, Austria. Normally for Syncro but I have a 91 Multivan Westfalia weekender from Graz. John Meeks

Greetings all! Could someone tell me if all vanagons were made in Germany or were some manufactured in the USA or Canada? Thanks Allan
