Well Joe that often happens to point sets that are over ten years old or to cars that have been underwater. I think its time to break loose with your annual $5.00 maintenance budget and get some new points. Sorry I don't have any used spark plugs to send you, I shipped all my old plugs off to the Russian Goodwill group so Russian VW Vans can keep a-movin. But seriously ............. it's humidity in the distributor, water perking up from your oil pan, water splashing off the road.
