So i like the idea of setting it up with the bentley categorization, and i understand what you are saying, too, Stan. So why not impliment that into how this is organized?

It seems there should be a sort of quality review feedback (that whole - "was this review helpful? 1-5" thing). Then, as all the 1,000 list members go through the archives, the helpful posts will naturally arise. Give that a few months, then you break out the cream into the bently sections.

This method is pretty organic, doesn't require nearly as much concerted effort from one or two individuals, should hopefully not be too easily mess-uppable, and would hopefully translate well into some level or automation(?) (although i don't know how...)

Anyway, just my spin on this. Keep in mind i'm a mechanical engineer, which typically means i don't know how people think :-)
