Hi all, the front brakes on my '82 Westy are squealing intermittantly but very loudly. I just replaced the rotors and pads. I did a search on the archive and found the advice about grinding a 45 degree angle on the front and back of the pads. Has anyone done this and had it work? Also, I'm missing the anti-squeak shim. I vaguely remember Stan saying something about making them yourself out of coffee cans or some such. Has anyone done this or, conversely, is it possible to buy them somewhere? thanks, I need to fix this. It's scaring the hell out of pedestrians. Matt
