Hi all
After replacing the slave cylinder too many times, I discovered that a
little modification with a grinder when you have the tranny out will save
countless hours when it comes to removing it again. A little clearance to
get to the bolt from the bottom with a 1/4 drive, swivel 13mm and a long
extension will do the trick.
On Syncros, clearance ground on the the top of the vac servo bracket comes
in handy when changing the starter. A notch on the top allows the starter
to come out without removing the servo. I have found no strength problems
when done carefully. The same socket (13mm with an integral swivel and an
extension is now a permanent tool in my box)
