You have 1.5 gallons in the tank that is hard to get rid of. I'd take a small rubber tube 1/8" windshield washer hose. Wrap the end with solder as a weight. Put the weighted end down the gas neck, blow on it to establish you are in the fuel then....Use a turkey baster with the necessary rubber hose adapters to suck the gas out from the fill neck. Tedious but I think it will work. I hypothesize that it will work. I hope it works.
