We got one this spring for some early camping and it worked great. It has a fan to distibute the heat. It says you only need 6 square inches of ventilation. We left a window and the skylight open a crack when it was running. We don't run it when sleeping but it was great to have in the evening and morning when the van was cold. They fit nicely between the front seats and blow the heat back to the "lounge". Roger
