I'd be for just cutting the Fan Belt (compressor belt). I missed many sales on my Westy because it didn't have A/C. There comes a time you want to move on to a Syncro or nicer van and the A/C will help sell yours at a higher price. The whole system probably weighs less than 100 pounds, most that I shipped came to about 75 lbs. for both boxes.
