My transmission sheared the teeth off of fourth gear so off to Rancho it goes. Now according to them the needle bearings are so worn out they have damaged the transmission case and it will need to be replaced . That's going to cost an additional $100.00. Before sending them the tranny they said if the Ring and Pinion was good then it was a good rebuildable core, now it seems like the story has changed a little bit. Is this case damage likely given that fourth gear did lose most or all of its teeth.
