I have had two sets of Nokian tires (Studded Hakka 1's and non-studded NRW's). I loved them both and got great mileage out of them. Before using these for winter tires I used Blizzaks. The NRW's are comparable to the Blizzaks as far as traction goes, but they lasted a lot longer. The studded Hakka 1's lasted for what seemed like forever. Towards the end of the tires life though, they definitely became insufficient for winter driving. There was still some tread on them so I drove on them long into the summer (I was giving the car away when I left the country in August. I didn't want to spend the money on new tires for 2 months use.) Mike |
