I must lead a charmed life. I just ran my '87 Syncro Westy from Florida to Michigan twice in the last few months. Ran an average of about 83 mph. At times, I ran over 90. No problem other than a clutch that went bad due to a incorrect grind on the flywheel on the last change about a year ago. The engine has 306,000 mi on it. > running a 138K mile engine @ 85 mph? no thanks
