I installed some new German fuel hose that release enough rubber partials that plugged the screen in the rebuilt injectors I installed when redoing a 914 fuel system. I removed the injectors and its hose, hooked a MityVac hand vacuum pump to the injector fuel inlet and pulled a vacuum on it. Then I placed the injector tip in a solvent, ( I think I used kerosene ) and with 12 volts from a battery charger cycled the injector rapidly. I had a clear suction hose and could watch the kerosene fill the hose and back flush the injector. The reinstalled injectors work just fine now at all speeds including full load at high rpm. SBB
