Subject: Re: 1.9 VS. 2.1-worth upgrading?

I wouldn't make the change unless it's new engine time anyway, but I put a 2.1 in my '85 camper and there's no lookin' back. There's a noticable difference on hills and over those long straight desert stetches, especially into the wind. I installed the Digifant system and the entire 2.1l cooling system.

I live in Phoenix, and have a lot of high speed straight and flat roads for many miles around. Consequently, and due to the fear of a thrown rod at high RPMs, I replaced fourth gear with a .77 (about 10% higher) so that I can cruise at 75 or so and not top 4K.
