its the headlights as well as the wiring thickness and weather or not theyre
relayed.  the DOT headlights have a horrible fluting pattern, they diffuse
light just about anywhere but down the road where you need it.  the E-code H4
eurolights have a much better lens fluting pattern.    if you go and relay your
lights and put brighter bulbs / wiring it will  help but still not as much as
if you would use H4 headlamps.
