        At work I often resort to a mode of trouble shooting I jokingly
refer to as "pecker tracks". If something breaks I first find out if
anyone else has recently worked on part of it and concentrate my search
there.
        In your case I would check the timing. Next I would double check
the mechanics work. This includes checking the parts to see if they are
the correct ones for your vehicle.
        Next I would check and see if he knocked anything loose like
vacuum hoses or the connector to the TEMP sensor. Keep us posted.
