Subject: Not again the fridge!!!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all

I did some test on my fridge (Westy 87) and I am very disapointed on the efficiency of it. I let my fridge (empty) running all night long on propane with the thermostat at maximum. I put also a small fan from Fridgemate inside it. Last night, the outdoor temperature was around 50F. In the morning, my fridge was about 25F (so far so good). During the day, the temperature hit around 72F. The van was park all day long with all windows closed (may be the temperature hit 82F inside the van, it is hard to say). However when I did a check at the end of the afternoon (around 6 pm, 72F outdoor), the temperature was 65F inside the fridge. Is it something wrong or this is the best I can get from this kind of fridge. Is there any defrost cycle on those fridges (it could explain the high temperature)?

Any comments are very welcome.

Germain
