Agreed. I put 6V QH bulbs into my 57 Panel's stock headlight buckets (ribbed glass). Nice and bright. No pattern at all, and couldn't see where I was going! I 12-volted it & fitted proper H4 units. Wunderbar!

Not if correctly adjusted... the cutoff should produce a horizontal edge to the beam, just below your average sedan's rear window bottom.
