Hey Doug,

I replaced my regular 7-passenger non-bed seat with a folding-bed seat from a weekender. Like you say, the pegs in the back just aren't right. The solution is to pull off the panels and remove the old peg bracket (spot welded), and weld it on a few inches forward. I don't know if you can just bolt it on, because there is little clearance under the panels.

You could also fabricate a new bracket with some heavy sheet metal, some nuts, and some fancy welding. I have yet to do this myself, because my bed is usually down and I don't much use the pegs. Someday, I'll do it right, I hope, but for now the dogs don't mind it.
