In my camper, you have to remove the air duct over the
rear seat, but yours probably doesn't have that since
its pre-'86 and doesn't have A/C. Then you need to
remove the evaporator/rear upper cabinet. Then you can
move the side cabinet. I wasn't able to remove my rear
side cabinet completely because the A/C hoses were in
the way, but if you don't have A/C that shouldn't be
an issue.
I'm sure that the tinter that did my van originally
was able to tint the left rear window without moving
the cabinet though. You might want to ask some other
window tinters about that before pulling the cabinet.

Tint is rated by the amount of light transmission
allowed and the amount of reflected UV energy. Check
the labels on both the smoke and mirror varieties to
see which reflects the most UV light.
You also need to check local laws before tinting your
windows, but Florida allows 28% net light transmission
on the front side door windows and 6% net on all the
windows behind the front side doors on 'multi-purpose
vehicles' (SUV's, vans and pick-ups). The 'net'
measurement is for both the window and the tint, so if
your windows were factory tinted, you need to use a
higher percentage of light transmission tint. Other
states have different requirements, some even enforce
them for out-of-state vehicles.
I use a temporary tint panel on the drivers window
that sticks by static cling for long trips, its cheap
and easy to remove quickly.
