Subject: Tiico Owners (Quick Question)

Sorry to bring up the "T word" . I was the guy who asked about Tiico engines a month ago and started the thread that would not die. For better or worse (after lots of input- Thanks!) I decided to Tiico-ize our 87 westi.

The conversion has been surprisingly easy so far. I pulled the wasserboxer out Friday night and installed the new I-4 yesterday (except for exhaust and air cond. pipes. I have now hit a snag.

Is there supposed to be a Ignition control Unit in the Kit? The instructions say 83-85 vans reuse ICU and mount it below the coil. I didn't get one and I am left with a dangling connector below the coil from the new wiring harness no ICU. Is this something I could buy locally , perhaps for a Jetta. Anyone Know....?

Thanks in Advance. Don Record York, PA.
