I also broke our city water connector on our first trip years ago by not
using a pressure regulator. Fortunately, we haven't really needed it since. I
was hoping to someday replace the cheap plastic fitting with a brass one,
or something more substantial, and install a pressure reducer inline. Has
anyone done this?
