Doesn't sound like Vanagon Syndrome to me nor an electrical problem. sound like a fuel flow problem. Filter I would suspect. Or water in fuel. Put some HEET in the fuel. Check your fuel flow. You may need a helper with this.

Starts right up, runs for a couple of seconds or so, some times a couple of minutes or so, then dies (immediately). If I rev it up it may or may not miss around 3000 rpms. Every time it dies, it is immediate without warning, letting me believe it is an electrical problem and not a fuel problem (clogged filter, water in fuel). I haven't tried to drive since my driveway and the avenue I live on are both steep hills. > >Is this the dreaded Vanagon syndrome? > >Regards, > >Mike Pedersen >Powell River, BC > > >
