Hello All:

I'm trying to get my 1990 Carat back on the road...found wrecked 1991 with a 2.1L that is a VW Dealer Rebuild...only has @15K on it...apparently not affected by the accident (starts & runs fine...no damage to rear or engine compartment.)

Guy wants $1500 for the engine. This includes extras (alternator, distributer...everything but the AC Compressor.)

What does List think? Fair deal?
