Over the years I've made a few friends and pen pals on the list.
I have chosen to release this to the whole list rather than to pinpoint
the individuals I mention above.
Mr. Howard Wilder (Stan Wilder's Dad) passed away ), age 94 years.
The funeral will be held at Royal Haven Baptist church, Thursday 10:30
AM.
We've just completed all the required details and I'm to take mother to
get her hair done today at 5pm.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) will be a good day for both Mother and the other
family members to catch our breath.
Funny thing ///////// when we visited Dad at the Traymore nursing home at
4:30 Sunday afternoon he told us that he "really felt good, he just felt
wonderful". He was having difficulty breathing at the time but was quite
lucent and conversed as usual.
About an hour later he had a heart attack and was transported to St Paul
hospital. He was unconscious from that point until he passed away.
The funny thing about him saying that he felt good is that I'd never
heard him in his whole lifetime say that he felt good or wonderful.
I'm thinking that he pretty much knew the time was very near.
Stan
