I am in a similar boat with my Porsche. I want 2/3rds what I put into it and not interested in wasting time with 1/3rd to 1/2 offers. The only way to sell the better quality example is to start hitting all the club and car events. Go to some of the regional VW events for the biggest crouds. If I wanted to buy a nice resto, that's where I would go to see several. Watch for the Mega Auto Malls big promotional events and just park on the curb near the entrance. Then talk to interested parties coming from the VW dealer having just priced a EuroVan Westy at 45K+, and choked. |
