Happened once when I was driving a Ghia. American 'custom' van start honking and waving at me going down the road. First thought: did something fall off? Second though: what have I done wrong lately? Finally I pull over and they tell me they have a 61 Ghia 'project' that needs to be removed from their driveway. Husband's idea of a hobby IIRC. Would I like it? Visit them a week later and it's a POS, but there are parts still there. Tap the front quarter to see what it's like and a stream of rust falls out of hole at the bottom. Large pieces of bondo fall off. They were real nice and just wanted to see it go to someone who appreciated them. After the title was found they gave it to me and towed it to my house a few days later. It only took a few hours to remove the few salvageable parts from it and then it was gone. Sometimes things just find you... John
