Noticed this morning that my pass side stabilizer link sheared off at the tie rod. Anybody had this happen? Not having much option, I drove it down Mt Lemmon, about 20 miles of windy road. Didn't seem to behave much different. Is this an urgent repair? Of course I'll fix it, but it would be nice to put it off a few days until I get back home. Won't be driving it too much, but there is a stretch of freeway involved. Also, any tips on the R&R? It looked like getting the bushing out of the link and off the flared end of the stabilizer bar is going to be a bear.
Thanks, Jeff |
