That's the pressure I used on the Michelin XC LT's I had on the '91 Westy I had until last June. They were rated at 50 max so that's what I ran when loaded for camping...then 40-45 when not. That's the pressure I use on my current tires when I'm fully loaded. The 2 numbers are different in my case because I don't have the same tires now as on the '91. My current tires allow 2-3 lbs. over the rating when under max. load so I use it. I also usually put about 3-5 lbs less in the fronts vs rears.
