Steve, Check out the vw-camping email list. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/vw-camping/ Click on links on the left tool bar. They have a lot of info on camping and traveling in the PNW. You might consider the following places: 1) Oregon coastal route 2) Crater Lake 3) Columbia Gorge 4) Washington coast 5) Mt. Rainier 6) Olympic Peninsula 7) Mt. Baker 8) Back roads by Mt. St. Helens to Windy Ridge 9) North Cascade Highway 10) Cascade Loop through Leavenworth area 11) Lake Chelan, ferry to Stehekin 12) Ferry rides on Puget Sound with your westy You can find trip reports with photos on all of those places in the links section of the vw-camping email list.
