Also It may not be the punp that is bad. As David B said test for 12 volts, but it is wired through the faucet switch. The faucet switch goes bad from arching or crud or 'rust'. So try direct 12 volts to the pump (not through the faucet switch). If the pump works with direct 12 volts, then I'd next take the faucent top off and check the contacts. m2cw. M
