riding through the Olyimpic Peninsula on a white stallion (westy syncro)? Was it the Lone RoadGuy or an imposter?

What I do know, I greatly enjoyed talking to Larry, Loren and Curt last week. Loren and Curt brought their Westies from Seattle on different days to visit Larry camping at Sequim Bay State Park. There was much trading of thoughts on the VW internals, Westy camping ideas and even more "can you top this". Living near this stop on the journey I wandered over to look - see. As a new EVC owner, and big time, novice camper, I really appreciated the information and tips these guys freely provided. They enjoyed showing off their toys and ideas for packing much into a small place. I took written notes, there was so much information being tossed about. Also confirmed what I was seeing on the various VW, VW camping elists, -- an intelligent, diverse, and passionate group of individuals own and love VW campers and vans.

Larry Chase is on a wonderful journey, to rediscover himself, North America, and to meet and talk with people along the way. It's a journey most of us would like to take. But if you can't take that trip today, you are planning to take that trip someday or just plain curious and Larry stops at an area remotely near you... go visit. The tour of his Westy is a must see. He put much thought, effort and money <G> into making that Westy attractive and fit for extended, full-time living. Larry is fun to talk to and as an added bonus you're likely meet other VW, Westy owners. Wouldn't be surprised to find a group following from state to state. Much like the followers of the Grateful Dead move from concert to concert.

Keep an sharp eye out for a white syncro Westy, on the road or camping. It could be the Lone RoadGuy and you could hear, "Hi Ho RoadHaus and away"
