Just getting ready for a little roadtrip and I would
like to fix a few small items.  I have an 85 Westfalia
GL, automatic.


1.  Is the speedometer cable the same for all years
(80 and up) and models?


2.  The interior light above the driver - it works in
the 'on' position, but not in the 'on when door open'
position.  How do i know if it's the light itself or
the thingy in the door jam?  The buzzer still works
when the key is in the ignition and the door opens.
Same thingy or different?


Those are the two that i can think of off the top of
my head.  More to come I'm sure.
