You didn't state it, but I assume that you have PROPERLY bleed all of the air out of the system, the easy way to do it is to (engine cold) fill the reservoir to the top and the overflow tank to the max line. Take the grill off, drive around till the engine is good and warm - shall we say hot - then: 1) open the bleeder value on the thermostat, should be coolant coming out not air, close this valve 2) unscrew the nut on the left side of the top of the radiator (up front). Only unscrew this nut (13 mm) about one or one and half turns. I'll bet that you hear a lot of hissing as the pressurized coolant system forces the air out. When air stops and coolant starts dribbling out, screw in the nut again - good and snug but not gorilla tight.

As the engine cools down, the reservoir cap will open and draw coolant in from the overflow tank.
