M9 nuts may be available at the Toyota dealer. They use them for some brake parts.

Typically, M9-1.25 is used as a repair screw for stripped out M8-1.25 holes, are you sure of the size? While 9mm is not a close match for any standard inch fastener, it still seems strange to use M9.
