Good luck on your continuing battle with this so-called service department, Sally, and thank you from all of us.

I believe that most people--even crooks and morons--have some capacity to learn. We can only hope that, thanks to your efforts Sally, the valuable lesson this jerk learns is that not all old-VW people will tuck tail and drift away. That every now and then, one of them will come back, bite him in the *ss and not let go until he makes things right.

So if the next time I visit a dealer service center, the staff there seems exceptionally polite and helpful, and winces a little bit whenever I look directly at them, I will know that you--or someone like you--has won a small victory for all of us. And for that I thank you.
