Subject: Re: [vanagon] A/C "box" removal from Westy?

My mechanic, who also has an '84 Westy wanted my non-functioning A/C. He removed it, reinstalled his (non A/C) cabinet and gave me $300. We LOVE the extra storage space and it looks stock because it is. It may cut resale value but it didn't work anyway and I wanted storage more than I wanted A/C.

Cheers, Doug
