i'll be going salmon fishing saturday morning, and my buddy olaf and i
are going to drive up from santa cruz in the syncro westy friday night.
  we're going to get there kind of late (10ish), and just want to park
somewhere and pop the top.  how do the local constabulary view this
practice?  can anyone point me to a spot (besides the two campgrounds,
which are full, apparently)?
