what about a '97 up Eurovan w/ the vr6? I've seen plenty of them equipped w/ wheelchair lifts. chris -------------------------- Clip --------------------------- I've already got the wheel chair lift, a very nice Braun unit that is relatively easy to install and has the sliding door automatic opener. I've sold my 83 Westy. I've sold my 66 Splittie. I'm selling off all my Paranoid Maintenance Parts. I'll be able to clean my driveway of a 86 Olds Wagon, 92 Crown Vic, 93 Ford Explorer if I get a good dependable van. (Savings in insurance premiums alone of about $1200.00 a year) You all know what a cynic I am ................. I'd never own a VW Van / Eurovan and not have a spare or backup vehicle. I attest to the dependability of my 83 Westy and the so far dependability of the 66 Splittie Westy but it took literally thousands to bring them to that point. I'm well aware that every vehicle, even new are Buyer Beware and I just hope I don't have to deal with major bucks on maintenance. I only have abilities on Air Cooled for engine maintenance and the EuroVan List has as many war stories on it as the Vanagon list. I'm going to build myself a house on my farm and I'm going to need Horse Power to pull trailers and haul materials, a nice flat hauling deck would also be an asset. I've bid on a 82 Airstream so I don't have to rough it too much while under construction. I'm not swearing of VWs, Air Cooled or Westy in general .................. I just need a break. I'll be able to hide about 200 in the wooded area of my farm property so I'm sure I'll have some more.
