This discussion on old vs. new vans has be curious about the front end differences. Several have mentioned differences in the front suspension and brakes (improvements over the years)... can anyone elucidate the differences of those two between, say, my '84 westy and my father-in-law's '87 weekender? About the only thing i've really seen is the cast ('87) and sheetmetal ('84) front suspension arms. I looked through the archives and didn't really find anything...
