Folks/volks,


(let's try this again, the listserv rejected it, but I think that is
because I started the message out with Ok folks/volks)


I did a search, and did not find the answer (so at least I tried the
archives :-) )...so...


The heavy backing of my engine cover carpet has disintegrated, and has
been removed. The carpet is still in decent condition. But, without the
sound proofing material, the engine is a bit loud. Yes, I have a diesel
vanagon.


Dunno if the soundproofing is the same in a gas as is a diesel.


Sooooo, do you folks have a good suggestion for stuff I can put under (or
preferably glue/fasten to the carpet) the carpet the attenuate the noise?
