hello all

my problem I was boosting my bronco battery with my van .. as i was cranking they engine of the Bronco.. the van quit .. (84, vanagon)i had put a 40 amp fuse in at the positive side, that was blowen .. smoke from the dash .. few resistors are heating up. I get power to the power supply relay, i get spark, the pump works but dosnt turn on at all with the key

could i have smoked my ECU, or AFM?

and is there anyone in and around my area that would just love to get there hands into this problem ? :) the van is where it died .. in Mt. Hope right beside the airport. Get it working and ill treat yea to some dinner, and a flight (as i am a pilot) :)

thanks

===== Dave Vieira Hamilton, Ontario Canada
